1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
lived in Texas
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any last year. i ain't gotta clue
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

5. What countries did you visit?
America, England, Wales, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
A Bachelors of Science (Hons) in Interactive Multimedia Design (Upper Second Class Honours) with a Diploma in Area Studies

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
13th June, the day i arrived home after a year in America
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Dean's List at Ozarks, getting the Coach's Award for tennis at Ozarks, staying together with Brett, getting an interview for the PGCE
9. What was your biggest failure?

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
just strep throat twice (twice in the academic year)

11. What was the best thing you bought?
meals out with Brett, plane tickets to Brett's so many times!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
my brother, he is so horrible to me
14. Where did most of your money go?
flights, calling cards, Wal-Mart got a lot of it, stores in Longview and restaurants in the Lgw area got a lot of my money too

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
going to stay at Brett's for a month in May-June
16. What song will always remind you of 2005?
Oh so many from Ozarks, but probably "On the way down" by Ryan Cabrera, and my Natasha Bedingfield and "Unwritten" bought from amazon.co.uk when i was in America
17. Compared to this time last year,are you:
i. happier or sadder? sadder (I was in Miami this time last year and was heading for Brett's house on the 6th January 2005
ii. thinner or fatter? about the same
iii. richer or poorer? hard to say (i was in America on scholarship last year so i suppose that was cheaper than now!)

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
i wish that i'd taken more classes at Ozarks
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
i spent Christmas at home and at my Aunties and at Vivien's house
22. Did you fall in love in 2005?
nope 2004

24. What was your favorite TV program?
MTV and TLC stuff in America, and MTV UK and Discovery Home and Health TV shows once I was home
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

26. What was the best book you read?
No se

27. What was your greatest musical (re)discovery?
Natasha Bedingfield in the midst of American......"stuff"

28. What did you want and get?
I got; good grades, many new friends, to see more of America and to stay with Brett for a while

29. What did you want and not get?
to stay in America
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Je ne sais pas

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
i turned 22, i studied all day and then we to the Parlour with Catherine Woods, Nicola, Louise and Caoimhe, then we went to the Union and then to the cinema.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
moving out

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
being able to go to class in your PJ pants (UK English = jammies) was quite wonderful at Ozarks!

34. What kept you sane?
My friends at home, Michy, my other third floor girls, Brett, Marcella at tennis, knowing that i could go back to America in just over a year from the day i was leaving
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Jessica Simpson

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
the US elections and how most Americans didn't realise what the rest of the world thought about what was happening because too many Americans are too insular (sorry, but it's true!), I think Europeans know more about the rest of the world than Americans do.

37. Who did you miss?
"us lot" and some other friends from home, and my sister Suzie
38. Who was the best new person you met?
i don't know if i met many new people in 2005, i met loads in 2004 when i started Ozarks though, maybe OWEN MCALEER is the best person I met in 2005 (just for u O!)
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
it is your own life, live it how you chose but still listen to other people's views and opinions

well Brett emailed me back...well i called him last night but he wasn't in (i gave in Michelle!), his email said,
"...Sorry I've become so distant these last few weeks. We'll talk sometime this week and I'll share what is on my mind. Okay well missing you and praying that you do well coping with the amount of your work at university and at Clarks..."

i'm terrified, what is he gonna say? plus i won't be in the house for any extended periods of time until Saturday afternoon! eeek!
